Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Logistics – Import shipment movements, customs clearance, warehouse, and delivery
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transporters for timely movement of goods
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and documentation for imports and exports
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices,
and shipping documents
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate rates for transportation and logistics services
- Track and optimize logistics costs to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, operations) for smooth execution
- Handle insurance claims and risk management related to shipments
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade policies, and compliance norms
