Job Purpose:
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for analysing CAD drawings, extracting quantities from 2D and 3D design outputs, and preparing accurate estimates for architectural and interior design works. The role demands expertise in quantification, rate analysis, and a strong understanding of construction practices to ensure reliable cost planning and project budgeting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in internal design meetings to understand design intent and project deliverables before initiating QS activities
- Conduct cost planning and provide estimates of materials, time, and labour based on CAD drawings and 3D visuals.
- Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) aligned with project specifications and company standards.
- Assist in preparing tender and contract documents,
including cost estimates and rate analysis.
- Provide technical and commercial comparisons to support decision-making.
- Undertake cost analysis for current and refurbishment works.
- Monitor budgets, assist with cost control, and support value engineering processes.
- Check vendor bills for completed work and prepare reports for approvals.
- Identify and document commercial risks and support mitigation activities.
- Maintain awareness of building contracts in use and apply them appropriately.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and adherence to company code of conduct.
Knowledge and Skill set:
- Knowledge of Architecture Software’s – AutoCAD (Mandate), Excel, MS Projects, knowledge on REVIT will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of current construction methodology both in architecture and Corporate interiors
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
