Key Deliverables in this role:

Financial Outcomes

- Manage end-to-end dispatches for the zone and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and optimize plant-wise logistics costs.
- Continuously drive cost control initiatives related to damage, expiry, and logistics operations.
- Responsible for freight efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Support logistics strategy implementation to improve stock management efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Customer Service

- Improve customer service levels through efficient warehousing and transportation management.
- Ensure reduction of depot-level Out of Stock (OOS) situations.
- Ensure dispatch order delivery turnaround within 24 hours.
- Coordinate with plant dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Liaise with Sales Managers (SMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs) on SKU availability and dispatch concerns.

Internal Processes

- Support supply chain efficiency through robust processes around:
- Supply planning and FG inventory control.
- Dispatch management & freight management.
- Direct dispatch from plants above 90%
- Warehouse space optimization and seasonal capacity planning.
- Maintain freshness index above 85% through effective inventory management.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on RM/PM planning based on rolling forecasts.
- Collaborate with operations teams on production and supply planning across cluster plants.




- Monitor ageing inventory and stale stocks and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate stock movements across plants and regions.
- Ensure effective order dispatch and delivery across clusters.
- Set up process governance and review mechanisms with plant dispatch teams.
- Drive SAP-related logistics, freight, warehousing, and shadow warehousing initiatives.
- Participate in monthly S&OP; and demand planning reviews and provide business insights.

Innovation & Learning

- Create and build differentiated supply chain capabilities for the traditional trade business.
- Drive process innovation and continuous improvement across logistics and warehousing operations.
- Identify and recommend current logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Develop review mechanisms, operating disciplines, and best practices across the supply chain network.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with procurement, operations, sales, and plant teams to strengthen supply chain capability.

Critical success factors for the Role:

- Master’s degree in operations / supply chain
- 6-7 years of FMCG work experience preferably in Beverages
