Role: Talent Fulfillment Group Specialist
Location: Aurangabad, India
Reporting To: Site HR Lead
Team name: People Operations & Strategy
About the Team and the Role:
The Talent Fulfillment Group at Ather is responsible for ensuring the right engineering and
business talent is deployed to the right projects at the right time. This team acts as the bridge
between resource demand and supply, optimizing talent utilization across our dynamic EV
ecosystem.
This role is for a proactive specialist who will own the end-to-end resource fulfillment cycle. You
will partner with engineering leaders to understand project demands, track talent availability, and
drive strategic deployment, ensuring our teams are fully equipped to build the future of mobility.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the full life cycle of contract staffing process for all requirements
● Manage team to smoothen the Contract Staffing process, strategize and propose process
improvements as and when required
● Place the right talent and capabilities within agreed SLA to meet the needs of the business,
interacting with the vendors for specifications
● Collaborate with stakeholders for the best solution on quick closures.
● Ownership of keeping the contract resource database updated at all times
● Create daily, weekly and monthly reports on metrics agreed with the stakeholders
● Review the payroll, purchase orders and invoicing process for the vendors.
● Review the quality of vendors on metrics, identify and onboard new partners to enhance the
experience and efficiency
● Ownership of joining and exit formalities, attendance management, statutory compliances
and absenteeism management for the contract staff
● Work closely with the Talent Operations (TO) team and Talent Partners on the pay revision
for the contract folks
● Partner with compliance, ER, IR and talent partnering teams on compliance and other
statutory processes
● Benchmark policies, processes and practices from different industries and working with
cross functional teams to implement best practices
● Proactive connect with functional leaders to identify and highlight problem areas and
working with them in building sustainable and long-term solution
● Negotiate with leaders on timelines, SLAs, policies, benefits, etc. to arrive at the best
possible solution.
Experience and Qualifications:
● A Bachelors/Masters in management or any other equivalent degree.
● 6 to 10 years of overall experience in a similar role
Must Have Competencies:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Experience of working in a cross-functional team and with business leaders
● In depth understanding and interest in both HR and Business
● A proactive and structured way of working, with an eye for detail
● Ability to perform under pressure
● Previous experience in managing contract/third party staff and statutory compliances
Good to have Competencies:
● Engineering Domain Awareness: Basic understanding of hardware,
software, and manufacturing
skill sets to effectively map talent to specific technical projects.
● Agile Framework Mastery: Understanding of agile methodologies to align resource deployment
with iterative project cycles and fast-paced engineering sprints.
● Talent Development Insight: Ability to identify upskilling opportunities based on forecasted
business needs and current capability gaps.
● Advanced Visualization: Experience creating energetic dashboards and reports that allow
leadership to explore talent data and uncover utilization insights independently.
