Position: Geopolitical Risk Analyst (Remote, Part-time)Location: Remote (India) occasional collaboration with global teamsOrganization: GeoQuant - A Fitch solution companyAbout the roleGeoQuant combine political science with advanced analytics to deliver high-frequency, verifiable country-risk insights used by institutional clients worldwide. We are hiring experienced Geopolitical Research Analysts from India for remote, part-time collaboration. This role is ideal for researchers and writers who have produced professional geopolitical analysis for governments, policy bodies, think tanks, political research organizations, or reputable news agencies.Who should apply (Mandatory requirement please read)We will consider candidates with prior professional experience at any one of the following:
- national or international policy-making institutions / government departments;
- political research organisations or political units;
- recognised think tanks or research institutes;
- established news agencies or journalistic desks covering geopolitics/international affairs.
- (Defense Organization or subsidiaries)

What you will do
- Independently research and produce detailed geopolitical reports (1,500 words) on global political events, regional risks, and strategic developments.
- Deliver structured, forward-looking analysis and clear, actionable recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Maintain high standards of sourcing and verification; reports must be well-referenced and professionally presented.
- Advise clients on political risk,



regulatory or policy developments, and implications for market entry or operations.
- Work with a global team to design mitigation plans and monitor outcomes via client-aligned KPIs.

Who we want
- Graduate or post-graduate in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Proven track record (academic or professional) producing policy briefs, intelligence assessments, or media-grade geopolitical analysis.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills; ability to translate complex political dynamics into clear business implications.
- Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable preparing client-grade deliverables.
- Highly independent, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Robust verification mindset comfortable working with primary sources and limiting reliance on unverified open-web content.

Nice to have
- Prior work directly supporting international clients or cross-border projects.
- Experience with quantitative indicators or risk modelling (an advantage but not required).

Compensation & process
- Trial: Two paid trial reports (upto INR 13,000/report) for evaluation.
- Post-trial: INR 16,000/- to 40,000/report.
- Typical monthly earning range: INR 80,000/- to INR 2,40,000/- depending on volume and quality. Performance Bonus
- Selected analysts will receive mentorship, access to advanced research tools, and opportunities to contribute to high-visibility projects.
