What if your years of chemistry training could directly shape how AI reasons through some of the most complex scientific problems in the world We're looking for Chemistry experts — Masters and PhDs — to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems that push the boundaries of what AI can understand and explain.
This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role built for working scientists, researchers, and academics who want to contribute to cutting-edge AI development on their own schedule. No AI background needed — just deep chemistry expertise and a commitment to scientific rigor.
- Design and develop complex, real-world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry
- Solve and review advanced problems to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Apply your domain expertise to challenge and improve AI reasoning in chemistry contexts
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to refine model outputs
- Ensure every deliverable meets a high standard of scientific rigor and precision
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
- Exceptionally strong written communicator — you can explain complex chemistry clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable when working independently
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with AI-generated scientific content or prompt engineering
- Broad cross-disciplinary chemistry knowledge spanning multiple subfields
