Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Utility Draftsman to join our team in Thiruverkadu, Chennai. In this role, you will prepare accurate shop drawings, utility layouts, and as-built drawings for high-value GCC utility and infrastructure contracts, working in close coordination with project engineers and site technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built layouts, and alignment plans for infrastructure utilities (wet/dry services, storm drainage, water networks, and roads).
- Model terrain, pipe networks,



and corridor profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Incorporate revision comments from clients, consultants, and local government authorities.
- Maintain strict drawing registers, file naming protocols, and version controls.
- Support engineering calculations including Material Take-offs (MTO), Quantity Take-offs (QTO), and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Ensure strict adherence to CAD standards, client quality management procedures, and project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in civil infrastructure and utility drafting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD (mandatory). Knowledge of Revit or Navisworks is an added advantage.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience drafting wet/dry services, drainage, and road networks. Exposure to GCC/UAE local authority standards (e.g., DEWA, RTA) is preferred.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with notice periods under 30 days are strongly preferred.
