Role Description The Junior Embroidery/Textile Designer role at PREWAL is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves assisting in the creation of embroidery layouts, motifs, and textile prints for gowns, dresses, ready-to-wear, and furnishings. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, preparing artwork and technical files, coordinating with senior designers, and ensuring designs are suitable for production. The designer will support sampling, review strike-offs and swatches, and make design adjustments based on feedback. Collaboration with the production team, clear documentation of design details, and maintaining an organized design archive are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in embroidery and textiles, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed design artworks.
- Proficiency in textile prints and graphics,



including pattern development and colorways.
- Basic to intermediate graphic design skills for creating and refining digital design files.
- Relevant education in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, good color and composition sense, and an interest in intricate craft-based techniques.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate effectively with design and production teams.
- Familiarity with design software (such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop) is an advantage.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience in embroidery, textile, or fashion design is beneficial.
