Role DescriptionThe Staff Accountant will work PART TIME (2pm to 6pm) in Vadodara, supporting day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities. Responsibilities include recording and reconciling transactions, preparing general ledger entries, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing processes. The role involves preparing basic financial statements and reports, supporting tax and compliance filings, and coordinating with senior accountants and management on financial data and audits. The Staff Accountant will also help maintain accurate documentation, respond to internal queries regarding financial records, and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.QualificationsStrong foundation in core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.Proficiency with accounting software and tools,



as well as solid skills in MS Excel and other spreadsheet or reporting applications.Knowledge of taxation, payroll processing, and basic compliance requirements relevant to Indian and international clients.Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to analyze financial data for accuracy and consistency.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and present financial information clearly.Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced skilled environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; pursuit of or qualification as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is an advantage.Prior experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting services, or a similar qualified firm is preferred but not mandatory.
