As a Senior Software Engineer Autonomy Applications Engineering at Shield AI you will collaborate with customers to enable edgeAI and autonomy on platforms across sea air and space Your role will involve understanding customer requirements developing new capabilities and ensuring successful software hardware integration Key Responsibilities Become an expert user of the Hivemind Enterprise Autonomy Software Development Kit Develop AI Autonomy software capabilities using Hivemind for unmanned platforms across air sea space Enable customers to integrate Hivemind autonomy to their vehicles platforms Debug software API integration issues Deploy Hivemind AI infrastructure at customer sites Provide technical training to customers for their autonomy development efforts Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products Develop and maintain technical documentation Travel to and stay at customer sites as required for deployment training flight testing 30 travel Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field 4 years of industry experience or 2 years of experience plus a masters degree Ability to travel and stay deployed at customer sites across India 3 years of experience in an integration applications engineering role 2 years of experience working in a startup environment Strong technical background in software engineering Robust proficiency in writing modern C code Intermediate proficiency in writing Python code Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to converse fluently in Hindi and English Preferred Qualifications Ability to travel to the USA for up to 3 months at a time for training Please note that as an international teammate at Shield AI you will receive a comprehensive total rewards package aligned to your country office location For full details on compensation and benefits please consult your talent acquisition partner
