Location Chembur Mumbai Duration 6 Months Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Software Testing Intern to join our team The candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of web Mobile applications through manual and automated testing processes Key Responsibilities Understand and follow the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle STLC Write review and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios Perform various types of testing including Functional Testing Integration Testing System Testing Regression Testing User Acceptance Testing UAT Black Box and White Box Testing Conduct manual and basic automated testing for web Mobile applications Identify document and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools Perform database testing and validate data integrity Create Test Data for different users Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure quality delivery Technical Skills Basic understanding of SDLC STLC and Bug Life Cycle Knowledge of Manual Testing Web Mobile Applications Automated Testing Web Mobile Applications Database Testing Test Cases Writing and Execution Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira Mantis or Bugzilla EXCEL Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium QTP or IBM RFT Qualifications BE BSc IT MSc IT MCA MCM or equivalent Certification in Software Testing is a plus Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage ISTQB certification preferred Additional Requirements Valuable analytical and problemsolving skills Solid attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team workplace Disclaimer This job posting has been aggregated from external source Role details content and availability are subject to change Applicants are advised to confirm the latest information directly on the company website before applying
