- Responsible for developing classical & contemporary Control system algorithms using Mathworks tools
- Develop and tune field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms including d-axis and q-axis (torque-forming) current controllers
- Design and implement PI/PID current regulators for various requirements
- Develop the torque demand arbitration and path from driver request (accelerator pedal / HMI) down to motor torque set-point
- Model and simulate PMSM / IPMSM / EESM machine behavior for controller design
- Implement torque coordination between HV battery, inverter, and e-machine
- Responsible for Test Specifications, Code Coverage, Model Quality and Model Validation (MIL, SIL) to ensure that developed model is bug-free and adheres to Model and code guidelines.
- Review of existing test cases, propose and implement new test cases required for 100% code coverage
- Support the team in Mscripting and Python for automation
