5+ years in software quality engineering with solid, demonstrable hands-on automation experience.
Proficiency in Python for test automation; hands-on experience with Playwright (or Selenium Web Driver
with a genuine willingness to convert to Playwright).
Solid grounding in OOP principles and the Page Object Model for building maintainable automation
frameworks.
API testing experience - validating REST/SOAP services, not just UI flows.
Practical experience testing backend integrations: file-based interfaces, batch processes, or system-to-
system data flows.
Working SQL skills to independently verify data correctness across systems.
CI/CD pipeline experience (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) - you should be comfortable with your
tests running as part of an automated pipeline, not just from your own machine.
Experience in a retail, e-commerce, or backend-integration-heavy domain (ERP, order management,
supply chain, or finance systems).
Comfort with a live, hands-on technical assessment (coding or scenario-based) as part of the interview
process.
Ability to work a minimum 2 3 hour daily overlap window with US Pacific Time, with the flexibility to shift
that window slightly during release or peak-readiness periods.
