Role Description This role is responsible for creating accurate drawing sets and technical documentation based on architectural designs. You will handle site surveys, produce AutoCAD drawings, and coordinate with consultants to resolve technical issues. By managing Good for Construction (GFC) sets and material details, you ensure that the design is translated correctly for in office execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drawing Production

• Site Survey: Take accurate measurements, heights, images and technical data from sites to produce drawings.

• Drawing Production: Understand the design intent from the project lead, and create detailed drawings, elevations, and technical details on AutoCAD.

• Materials/BOQ:



Provide accurate measurements and material details to prepare Bills of Quantity.

2. Communication & Coordination

• Internal Reviews: Track project progress and meet regularly with Principal Architects to ensure the design stays on track.

• Submissions: Keep track of drawing set submissions, revisions and corrections.

3. Technical Execution & Site Support

• Consultant Coordination: Coordinate with all parties like contractor on-site, MEP consultant, structural consultant, and other vendors to obtain technical details and resolve drawing issues.

• Quality Control: Thoroughly review all technical drawings and material detail to ensure everything is resolved before it gets executed on site.

• Construction Support: Create Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, answer site queries (RFIs), and resolve any design changes or technical challenges during building.

CANDIDATE MUST:

• Have a Diploma/Certification in Architecture/Interior Design/Drafting.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a draftsman.

• Be highly skilled in AutoCAD, with proper knowledge of how to manage large drawing sets, from small details to technical drawings.

• Have excellent mathematical and calculation skills, with an eye for detail.

• Be an effective communicator in order to translate design ideas into drawings.
