What we are looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotator - Intern to support our AI team in improving the quality of image-based and text-based datasets. The role involves correcting, updating, and creating annotations on images using our web-based annotation tool, as well as reviewing sequences of images to provide contextual metadata.



This work is critical to enhancing the accuracy and performance of computer vision applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Use our web-based annotation tool to correct and refine bounding boxes on images.
- Add new annotations where required to expand dataset coverage.
- Review sequences of images and annotate text metadata to capture contextual information.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all annotations.
- Collaborate closely with the AI team to align annotation work with project goals.

Requirements

- Robust attention to detail and ability to follow annotation guidelines.
- Basic understanding of image data and computer vision concepts.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with the AI team.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Prior experience with web-based annotation tools is a plus.

- Onsite role, working side by side with the AI team.

Summary of scope

- 10,000 images: Annotating with 50 to 100 bounding boxes
- Correction or new bounding boxes
- 2000 sequences of images (10 to 150 images)
- Adding textual metadata against the entire sequence
- Marking boundary of start and stop in the sequence of images
