Role Description This is a full time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Electrical Design Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and components for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and client specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical drawings and schematics, calculating load requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, and planning power distribution layouts.



The role involves collaborating with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, and vendors to coordinate designs, review technical documents, and support installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The Electrical Design Engineer will also assist in cost estimation, prepare technical reports, and provide ongoing support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and understanding of Electricity principles, including circuits, protection, and safety standards.
- Applied experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including preparing drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution systems for commercial or industrial applications, including load calculation and equipment selection.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with electrical design and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with relevant national and international electrical codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple project tasks and deadlines.
- Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
