About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Analyst & Project Coordinator to join our application development and production support team. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through rigorous testing, comprehensive defect tracking, and effective project coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing manual testing procedures, managing project timelines, and facilitating seamless communication among team members and stakeholders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely within a collaborative environment, contributing directly to the success of our software solutions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on manual testing experience. Strong proficiency in SQL for backend data validation, API testing using Postman, and familiarity with testing web applications, PDFs, and reports are essential.



Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms is required, along with excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills. Knowledge of accessibility standards like ADA, Section 508, or WCAG is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, work effectively within a team, and be willing to work the full shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for web applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data to cover various testing requirements.
- Conduct backend data validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity and correctness.
- Test APIs utilizing tools like Postman to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Validate application-generated PDF documents and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform accessibility testing to ensure applications meet ADA, Section 508, and WCAG standards.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools; retest and close resolved issues.
- Maintain detailed project trackers, testing documentation, and monitor deadlines, dependencies, and action items.




- Gather daily updates from the development team and prepare consolidated status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Follow up with developers regarding tasks, blockers, and committed timelines to ensure project progress.
- Coordinate application demos, UAT activities, production releases, and post-release validation to ensure smooth deployment.
- Participate in project meetings, provide updates, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to address issues and clarify requirements.
- Escalate critical defects, missed deadlines, risks, and unresolved blockers appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
