- Lead and manage the delivery of electrical design packages across rail infrastructure projects
- Design of Rail Stations M&E;, Rail Lineside M&E; Low voltage systems including but not limited to Platform Lighting, LV Power Distribution, Points Heating, and Signalling Power
- Act as Lead Engineer or Contractor’s Responsible Engineer (CRE), checker ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards and safety regulations
- Prepare key elements of design deliverables including technical reports, electrical calculations, lighting calculations and CAD drawings in industry standard software
- Provide technical and commercial oversight, including design planning, risk management and quality assurance
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and graduates, supporting them in their career development and chartership journeys




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and constructible design solutions
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant regulations, including CDM and Health & Safety legislation
- Familiarity with the full project lifecycle – from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team
- Experienced in the use of international, UK Network Rail, and Railway Group Standards as well as the relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
