Job Description

What you’ll do…

- Support the day-to-day operation of the Laundry department, ensuring all guest laundry, hotel linen and uniforms are processed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise the laundry team during your shift, ensuring productivity, quality and service standards are consistently achieved.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is operated safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance requirements promptly.
- Monitor the quality of washed, dried, pressed and finished linen, uniforms and guest garments, ensuring they meet The Hoxton's standards.
- Manage linen and uniform inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimising losses through effective control procedures.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping,



Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to ensure timely delivery and collection of linen and uniforms.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within the laundry and uniform room.
- Monitor laundry chemicals, consumables and operating supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and wastage is controlled.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines and hotel policies at all times.
- Support the training and development of the laundry team while fostering a positive, collaborative and service-focused working setting.
