Role: Guidewire Jutro/Digital Developer Seniority Level: Senior Required Experience: 6-12 years Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver Guidewire Claims Digital applications (coding, unit testing, debugging, release support) within quality and schedule targets. - Collaborate with technical leads and IT groups to understand project implications, resolve dependencies, and manage code versioning and merges. - Investigate production issues, perform rootcause analysis, document findings, and provide timely resolutions. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, risk forums, sprint planning, and retrospectives while adhering to Guidewire cloud development standards. Must-Have Skills/Technologies: - Guidewire Cloud Platform (Jutro, Gosu scripting, Edge APIs, UI, Data Model) - React.js (including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap) for frontend development - Node.js (with build tools Grunt or Gulp) for application tooling - RESTful services integration - CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine) for unit testing Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies: - AJAX and DOM manipulation techniques - Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge - Guidewire cloud standards compliance and best practices - Version control and merge conflict resolution (e.g., Git) - Agile/Scrum process familiarity Must-Have Soft Skills/Technologies: - Strong verbal and written communication - Effective problem-solving and rootcause analysis - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams - Proactive participation in Agile ceremonies and team meetings Valuable-to-Have Soft Skills/Technologies: - Mentoring junior developers - Adaptability to fastchanging project priorities - Continuous learning mindset for emerging Guidewire features - Attention to detail in documentation and release processes
