Role Description The Electrician role at SUNRAY VILLAGE RESORT is a full-time, on-site position based in Vishakhapatnam. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and local regulations. The Electrician will respond to service requests from various departments, coordinate with the maintenance team, and help minimize downtime to support a seamless guest experience.



Accurate documentation of work performed and proactive identification of potential electrical hazards are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and practical experience in electrical work for commercial or hospitality environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair, including installing, servicing, and replacing electrical fixtures, wiring, and equipment.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting abilities to identify faults, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to protected and efficient system operation.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trade from a recognized institution.
- Working knowledge of local electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and readiness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Previous experience as an electrician in hospitality, residential, or commercial facilities is an advantage.
