- Responsible for fitting, edging, and assembling lenses into spectacle frames with precision and accuracy.
- Interpret and work from optical prescriptions to ensure the correct lens type, power, and fitting requirements.
- Handle and operate optical instruments, lensometers, and edging machines efficiently.
- Conduct lens cutting, alignment, and mounting as per frame specifications.
- Inspect finished spectacles for quality, accuracy, and comfort before delivery to customers.
- Make necessary adjustments and repairs to frames and lenses when required.
- Maintain records of lens orders, repairs, and fittings.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of optical materials and tools.
- Coordinate with optometrists and sales staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of eyewear to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fitting lab/workshop area.
- Follow company standards and safety protocols during all fitting and technical processes.
