What will you get to do

- Receive and log in patient samples accurately and promptly, ensuring the proper identification and labeling of each sample container.
- Enter relevant patient and sample information into the laboratory information system (LIS) or laboratory management system (LMS) with precision and
- Monitor the movement of samples within the laboratory, from accessioning to testing, to ensure samples are appropriately routed and accounted for at each stage.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures, following standard operating protocols to minimize errors and maintain accuracy in sample accessioning.
- Record and maintain detailed records of sample accessioning activities, including any deviations or discrepancies encountered during the process.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of sample collection materials,



ensuring an adequate supply of necessary items to facilitate smooth accessioning.
- Properly handle and store samples, following established guidelines and protocols to ensure the integrity and stability of the samples during storage and transportation.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines and company policies related to the handling and processing of patient samples, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and support staff to facilitate seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sample accessioning.

Skills we are looking for

- Bachelors degree in Medical Lab Technology, DMLT,Bsc MLT.
- Proven experience in sample accessioning, laboratory operations, or a similar role within the diagnostic or healthcare industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) or laboratory management systems (LMS) is advantageous.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize work effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for sample handling and processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.
- Willingness to work in shifts, as required.
