Water Supply Expert

AECOM India is seeking a highly skilled Waste Water Expert to support and lead the planning, design, review, and technical evaluation of water supply and distribution infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the delivery of sustainable, productive, and reliable water supply solutions.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the planning, design, and review of water treatment plants (WTPs), water transmission mains, distribution networks, reservoirs, and pumping stations.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate water treatment technologies, system configurations, and operational strategies.
- Conduct hydraulic analysis and system modeling for water transmission and distribution networks.
- Review engineering calculations, process designs, layouts, technical specifications, and design reports.




- Ensure compliance with applicable drinking water standards, regulatory requirements, national codes, and international best practices.
- Conduct technical evaluations of proposals, feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and detailed engineering designs.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to develop integrated water supply solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction, testing, commissioning, and operational performance assessments.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures to achieve quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Support project managers and clients through technical reviews, stakeholder consultations, and project presentations.
