What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):

The Developer all Access is responsible for contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of Java-based systems within the Cyber Security, Third Party & Resilience Technology development team The role collaborates with peers to deliver effective technical solutions, assists in the design of application infrastructure, and supports the continuous improvement of existing applications This position plays a key part in driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology solutions that align with CIBCs goals.

How Youll Succeed (Responsibilities):

Design and Development:

- Contribute to application programming activities by collaborating with team members to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements.
- Assist in designing the application's technical infrastructure, utilizing databases, programming languages, and utilities as required.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of Java-based systems to support business objectives.

Strategic Planning:

- Support projects focused on the enhancement and maintenance of existing applications, particularly those involving Java technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic business needs.

Leadership Skills:

- Act as a key contributor within the Cyber Security, Third Party & Resilience Technology development team.
- Participate in code-review sessions to ensure project objectives are met and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Support and collaborate with peers by sharing knowledge, problem-solving, and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders within the Cyber Security, Third Party & Resilience Technology group to deliver technology solutions.
- Works closely with internal partners, such as Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams, to ensure the successful delivery and support of applications.
- Engages with external vendors as required to implement and maintain third-party solutions.

- Provides subject matter expertise in Java development and related technologies.
- Supports multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions.

Experience:7 years of experience.

Who You Are (Skills / Qualifications):

Must Have Skills:

- 7 years experience, with minimum 5-6 years of Cloud development experience, using the following languages or tools: Java 8+, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Hibernate, Oracle, SQL language, Jquery, JSP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services, API-M, AKV, Azure development/ AWS/GCP.
- Strong understanding of application design, databases, and programming utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire outcomes.

Good to have Skills:

- SailPoint Cloud Access Management development, WCF Services, Integrated and JWT Authentication mechanisms, PowerShell and shell scripting, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins.
- Digital savviness and adaptability to new tools and technologies.
