Purpose of the role:

The BFSI role requires an in-depth understanding of the capital market, different financial instruments and their processing requirements. Should have a good understanding of financial markets, the regulations that govern them. Should have proven leadership experience in motivating, leading and managing large teams. Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment

Responsibilities:

. Good experience in Wealth Management & Capital Markets.
. Understanding of how trading and risk management activities are organized into formal units, and the rules/standards around these.
. Provide business leadership with matrices /indices/dashboard of financial performance and be part of the review process.
. Manage large scale digital transformation (Process digitization/ migration, operating transformation, implementation of digital initiatives, etc.).
. Analytical skills - Must have clear understanding about financial ratios, %Growth & variance analysis.
.



Good knowledge in domains such as Vendor, Customer, and Finance Master Data (charts of accounts, cost centres, legal entities, etc.).
. Primary Industry knowledge in CPG/Retail, Manufacturing, or Insurance Industry.
. Experience working with Global Banks/ other geographies.
. Knowledge of high-level business solution design covering customer journey design, process improvement/ design and high-level functional systems design (for example, use cases)
. Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
. Engagement with stakeholders across Front Office trading and quants Risk Technology and Capital Management functions

Skills:

. High level of understanding of different financial products, financial markets and regulations that govern them.
. Knowledge of traded products, market risk methodologies, trading systems, risk management and control processes.
. Any system / process implementation experience within finance domain is preferred.
. Hands-on experience of working on ERP/ tools like NetSuite/SAP
. Prior experience with acquisition risk strategy, account management strategy or strategy analysis and portfolio.
. Trade Support Confirmations and Settlements experience would be an added advantage
. Strong written and verbal communication skill
. Strong understanding of credit operations activities in commercial lending domain
