- Valid JCB operator license (RTO-approved license or local equivalent)
- Training certificate from a recognized training institute.
- Heavy vehicle license (if transporting machinery)
- Proficient in operating JCB machines (backhoe loaders, excavators, etc.)
- Familiar with different attachments (bucket, hammer, auger, etc.)
- Skilled in digging, leveling, trenching, and loading/unloading materials
- Ability to maneuver the machine safely in tight or uneven areas.
- Understanding of engine systems, hydraulics, and basic mechanical functions
- Deep knowledge of construction site safety rules
- Surrounding awareness to avoid injury or property damage
- Follow directions from site supervisors, signalmen, and surveyors
- Maintain daily logs (fuel usage, hours operated, maintenance)
- Punctuality and time management
- Basic reading and writing skills (to read work orders or safety notes)
- Teamwork – cooperating with engineers, masons, helpers, etc.
- Discipline and willingness to follow instructions
- Make smart decisions in poor weather or unstable ground conditions.
