Job Description – Staff Nurse

1. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide secure, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to IPD, ICU, OT, and Emergency patients as per hospital protocols.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and promptly report any deterioration to the treating doctor or senior nurse.
3. Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, blood products, and other treatments accurately as prescribed by the consultant.
4. Assist doctors during patient examinations, medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency interventions.
5. Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, treatment sheets, and patient documentation in a timely manner.
6. Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) practices, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
7. Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment plans, medication schedules, nutrition, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
8. Coordinate effectively with doctors,



nursing supervisors, laboratory, pharmacy, OT, ICU, and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.
9. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharge while ensuring comfort and dignity.
10. Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and high standards of discipline while delivering quality nursing care.

- Eligibility ANM,GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience in ICU, Emergency, OT, Medical Ward, or Surgical Ward will be preferred
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency duties
- Required SkillsStrong clinical and patient care skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
