Oversee day-to-day production operations for our B2B bag manufacturing unit (leather, rexine, nylon, canvas, jute — white-label/private-label job work). Responsible for:
- Coordinating the production floor — planning, scheduling, output tracking
- Managing sampling pipeline and turnaround for prospective/confirmed client orders
- Liaising with outsourced job-work vendors when in-house capacity is short
- Tracking material usage against BOM, flagging cost/time overruns
- Maintaining AQL inspection and defect-classification records
- Ensuring SOP ("Enquiry to Cash") adherence on the shop floor
- Reporting production status, capacity utilization, and bottlenecks to founders weekly
Requirements: 3–5 yrs production/floor management experience in bag, leather goods, or garment manufacturing; comfortable with small-team, high-chaos environments; basic Excel for tracking.
