Job Description: A security guard protects the facility, inventory, workers, and visitors. They control access points, check incoming and outgoing delivery trucks, patrol the perimeter, monitor camera feeds and respond to emergencies.
Key Duties :
- Access Control: Check ID badges of staff, log all visitors, and manage gate entry for delivery trucks.
- Patrols: Walk around the warehouse and look for signs of damage or break-ins.
- Surveillance: Watch security camera monitors (CCTV) to spot strange behaviour.
- Cargo Checks: Match incoming and outgoing goods with proper shipping papers.
- Daily Logs: Write reports about shift activities and any security breaches.
