The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathe/VMC machines to produce precision-machinedcomponents to drawing specification, consistently and safely, shift after shift. This role directly determinesParFlow’s output, quality, and on-time delivery performance.3. Key Responsibilities•Set up and operate the assigned CNC machine(s) as per job card and drawing•Load/unload components and monitor the machining cycle•Perform basic in-process checks (dimensions, finish) using standard measuring instruments•Report any deviation, tool wear, or machine abnormality immediately to the Supervisor•Maintain the assigned machine — cleanliness, coolant levels, routine care•Follow safety protocols at all times•Maintain production records for own machine/shift•Support the setter/programmer during recent job setup when required4. Key Result Areas (KRAs)
/ KPIs•Parts produced per shift vs. standard cycle time•First-pass yield / rejection rate on own output•Machine uptime (no unplanned stoppages due to operator error)•Adherence to safety protocol and standard operating procedure5. Qualifications & Experience•No formal ITI qualification mandated — practical, hands-on CNC machine operating experience valued equally•2–5 years of hands-on CNC lathe/VMC operating experience6. Skills & Competencies•Ability to read basic engineering drawings•Familiarity with standard measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer)Attention to detail and consistency across long production runs•Basic discipline around safety and machine care
