Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and presentable Retail Sales Associate to join our flagship store in Delhi. In this role, you will act as the face of The Yarn Story, assisting customers, driving retail sales, and delivering a premium, personalized shopping experience

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Sales: Greet incoming store guests, assist them with product selections (apparel/home textiles/accessories), and drive monthly sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of fabric types, weaves, designs, and brand stories to educate shoppers effectively.
- Store Operations: Manage POS billing, handle cash/digital transactions, and track stock levels using RFID/barcoding systems.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain overall store cleanliness, aesthetic standards, shelf displays, and stock organization.




- Inventory Tracking: Support regular stock audits, incoming shipment receiving, and inventory updating.
- Clientele Building: Maintain a polite demeanor, take customer feedback, and record contact details for CRM and promotional campaigns.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (experience in apparel, luxury goods, home decor, or textiles is preferred).
- Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2) or Graduate in any field.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Skills: Basic computer skills (Excel, POS/billing software familiarity), customer engagement, and basic negotiation abilities.
- Availability: Willingness to work retail store shifts, weekends, and holidays.
