We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman with expertise in Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems to prepare detailed shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and as-built drawings for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
- Develop shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients for drawing approvals.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments.
- Prepare material take-offs and BOQs from approved drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
- Support project execution with timely drawing submissions.
- RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Plumbing, Drainage, Water Supply, Hydrant, Sprinkler, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Ability to prepare shop drawings and coordinated MEP layouts.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and site coordination.
- Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation and material estimation is preferred.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Preferred SkillsExperience working with MEP contractors.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (3D/Revit will be an added advantage).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
