Senior Accountant – UK FCA Regulatory Reporting (IFPR/MIFIDPRU)

I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation for a highly specialised Senior Accountant position based in Mumbai.
This is NOT a traditional fund accounting or financial reporting role.
The successful candidate will become the understudy to a Senior Regulatory Accountant and must be capable of taking ownership of UK FCA prudential regulatory reporting.
To be considered, you MUST have hands-on experience preparing UK FCA regulatory returns, including:
- UK FCA Investment Firms Prudential Regime (IFPR)
- MIFIDPRU regulatory reporting
- Financial controllership
- Month-end and year-end close
- Financial reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Working within a regulated financial services setting

- Fund Accounting
- NAV Calculations
- Private Equity Accounting
- Hedge Fund Administration
- General Ledger / R2R only
- Tax
- Audit
- Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Indian regulatory reporting only (RBI, GST, etc.) without UK FCA prudential reporting
This requirement is essential, and applications without direct UK FCA IFPR/MIFIDPRU experience will unfortunately not be progressed.
