Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Import Manager to lead end-to-end international import operations, customs clearance, and trade compliance for imports primarily from China . The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in customs regulations, freight management, import documentation, and electronics-specific regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end import operations from supplier shipment to warehouse delivery.
- Handle customs clearance through CHAs and ensure timely cargo release.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, WPC, EPR, DG Handling , Foreign Trade Policy, and Customs regulations.
- Classify products using HS Codes and leverage applicable FTAs for duty optimization.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, and overseas suppliers.
- Monitor shipments from Shenzhen, Shanghai, Zhuhai, Qingdao,



Busan, Xiamen, Ningbo, Tianjin, Singapore , etc.
- Negotiate freight rates, SLAs, and logistics contracts.
- Minimize demurrage and detention by implementing pre-clearance strategies.
- Perform landed cost analysis and validate freight, CHA, duty, and logistics invoices.
- Manage marine insurance and cargo damage/loss claims.
- Drive logistics cost optimization while maintaining compliance.
