A MIG welder uses metal inert gas equipment to join metal parts together by reading blueprints, setting up machines, and inspecting finished welds
Key Responsibilities:-
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan work.
- Operate MIG equipment, adjusting voltage, wire speed, and gas flow.
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, or tacks.
- Test and inspect welds for quality and strength.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and protected. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma plus vocational training or a welding certificate.
