About the Role We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and support the delivery of accurate financial reporting taxation compliance and business advisory services The role requires strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge BAS IAS GST PAYG and payroll tax with the ATO Assist with month-end and year-end closing Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards Manage accounts payable receivable and bank reconciliations Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals companies trusts and partnerships if public practice Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules Support budgeting cashflow forecasting and variance analysis Work with accounting software such as Xero MYOB QuickBooks Liaise with external auditors clients and stakeholders Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Skills Experience 2-5 years accounting experience in Australia public practice or commercial Strong understanding of GST BAS payroll and ATO compliance Proficiency in Xero MYOB QuickBooks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Robust communication and stakeholder-management abilities Job Types Full-time Part-time Permanent Fresher Internship Contractual Temporary Freelance Volunteer Pay 25 000 00 - 55 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work from home
