Responsibilities o Tenant Take action on posting charges payments on tenant ledger at the Sr Accounting Manager s direction Take tenant calls and address questions based on tenant ledger Handle questions related to tenant portal such as activation payment method adding emails address log in issues etc o Accounts receivable Assuming Lockbox is in place o Checks Money Order Cashier Checks Explicit the exception queue for Lockbox and reconcile Fix the tenant ledger if any payments received are misapplied and reconcile o Direct Deposit Post direct deposit received to AppFolio Coordinate with Property Managers on payment received for past or evicted tenants o General accounting o Analyze data by creating pivot tables and work on various tenant data sanity related projects by following a plan to be directed by the Sr Accounting Manager o Performs other related duties as assigned by Sr accounting manager Qualifications o Academic degree in accounting or related field o Interest in real estate management accounting with related experience o High accuracy in typing at a minimum of 50 wpm o Microsoft excel proficiency and ability to use pivot tables o A self-motivator with attention to detail and strong organizational skills o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English o Versatility flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm o CPA track candidates highly preferred o Real estate management ERP system such as AppFolio or Yardi familiarity is highly preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 45 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Application Question s What is your current salary How many years of experience do you have as an accounts recievable What is your notice period Do you have experience in appfolio software Is timings from 8 30 PM to 5 30 AM ok with you Do you have experience in real estate portfolio management Work Location Remote
