A Chinese Chef de Partie CDP manages a specific specialized section of a Chinese kitchen e g wok dim sum or roast to ensure high-quality food preparation consistency and food safety standards They are responsible for cooking dishes supervising junior staff managing inventory for their station and assisting with menu development Key Responsibilities Food Preparation Expertly prepare cook and present Chinese dishes e g stir-fries dim sum following established recipes portion sizes and presentation standards Section Management Oversee operations of a specific station ensuring smooth effective service during busy hours Quality Hygiene Control Maintain strict cleanliness sanitation and food safety HACCP standards including proper food storage and temperature checks Staff Supervision Train guide and supervise commis chefs and kitchen helpers delegating tasks effectively Inventory Control Manage section stock levels reduce waste and assist with ordering ingredients Collaboration Work with the Head Sous Chef on menu planning creating daily specials and ensuring consistent food quality Key Qualifications Skills Proven experience as a Chinese Commis or Demi Chef de Partie Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques Wok Steam Fry and ingredients Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 28 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
