Job Title Staff Nurse - IVF Department IVF In Vitro Fertilization Location Tieten Medicity Reports to IVF Department Head Senior Consultant Job Summary The Staff Nurse in the IVF department is responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing fertility treatments including IVF and supporting the medical team in the effective running of the department This role involves patient care administration of medication and supporting procedures while ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice Key Responsibilities Patient Care Assist in the pre- and post-treatment care of IVF patients Monitor patients during procedures such as egg retrievals embryo transfers and other fertility treatments Provide emotional support and counseling to patients during their fertility journey Medication Management Administer medications as per the IVF protocols including hormone injections Educate patients on the correct administration of medications at home Ensure accurate documentation of administered medications in patient records Assisting with Procedures Assist doctors during ultrasound scans egg retrieval embryo transfer and other fertility-related procedures Prepare the procedure room with sterile instruments and necessary medical supplies Ensure the smooth flow of IVF procedures in collaboration with the embryologist and clinical team Patient Education and Counseling Provide information on IVF treatment plans procedures and expected outcomes Offer counseling to patients regarding IVF treatment its implications and steps involved Maintain open communication with patients to address their questions and concerns Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate patient records including treatment protocols medication administration and procedure details Ensure compliance with all IVF regulatory standards in documentation Update patient records regularly in the hospital s electronic system Lab Liaison Coordinate with the embryology team for egg retrievals and embryo transfers Ensure that patient specimens eggs sperm embryos are handled carefully and in accordance with laboratory protocols Infection Control and Safety Follow infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment for IVF procedures Monitor the patient s condition for signs of infection or complications during their treatment cycle Maintain cleanliness and ensure all medical equipment is sterilized Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Education Diploma Preferred Experience Nursing 1 year Preferred total work 1 year Preferred Language Hindi Preferred License Certification Nursing License Preferred Work Location In person
