Senior Store Supervisor - Location Bhiwandi Industry Machine Manufacturing Job Summary The Senior Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire stores and inventory management process ensuring efficient material handling stock accuracy and timely issuance of components for production The role requires strong leadership coordination with multiple departments and adherence to industry best practices for inventory control in a manufacturing setup Key Responsibilities 1 Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of stock levels incoming and outgoing materials Ensure proper storage labeling and arrangement of raw materials spare parts and finished goods Implement FIFO LIFO methods for stock management Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records Reduce inventory discrepancies and pilferage through robust control measures 2 Store Operations Documentation Oversee material inward and outward movements ensuring correct documentation GRN MRN Issue Slips etc Ensure proper handling storage and preservation of materials to prevent damage Maintain compliance with company policies and statutory regulations for stock handling Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of materials as per production and procurement schedules 3 Coordination with Departments Work closely with the purchase production and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations Ensure timely availability of raw materials and spare parts to prevent production delays Coordinate with logistics and vendors for efficient material movement 4 Team Supervision Training Lead train and supervise storekeepers and store assistants Assign work responsibilities monitor staff performance and ensure efficiency in store operations Foster a culture of safety accuracy and accountability within the stores team 5 Technology Reporting Maintain records in ERP software and generate MIS reports Stock Reports Consumption Reports etc Identify areas for process improvements and automation in inventory management Ensure timely reporting of shortages excess stock and material issues to management Key Skills Requirements Education Diploma Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field Experience 5 years in store inventory management preferably in a machine manufacturing company Technical Skills Proficiency in ERP systems MS Excel and inventory management software Knowledge Understanding of store operations stock reconciliation and material handling procedures Soft Skills Robust leadership problem-solving coordination and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in managing engineering manufacturing stores Knowledge of ISO 5S and Lean Inventory Management practices Hands-on experience in procurement coordination and vendor management Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 300 000 00 - 400 000 00 per year Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
