Job Posting Title Associate Media Systems Engineer Expression of Interest Req ID 10132837 Associate Media Systems Engineer Position Summary The Physical Post Technology department PPT is looking for junior engineer to work within an exciting and growing environment PPT is responsible for all aspects of post-production and media services for ILM and Lucasfilm including editorial dailies reviews and virtual production Client deliverables are also part of PPT s responsibilities as well as technical project design and maintaining the presentation theaters Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities Provide frontline support for multiple screening rooms conference rooms and MCR environments Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve issues involving video audio and file-based media production workflows Partner with engineers and management to develop and implement recent procedures and workflows as required by in house editorial and production Frontline technical support for Avid systems editorial suites dailies review rooms motion capture stage and backend equipment including video routers network switches displays projectors etc Troubleshoot Audio and Video signal flow and playback issues during local and remote client sessions Support media workstations running under Windows Mac and Linux operating systems Work with senior engineers to design deploy and document new media production systems Collaborate effectively with artists production supervisors and technical staff to solve media related technical issues Preparation of end-user and engineering documentation Job Requirements Education Experience BA or Associate Degree in Engineering Communications Electronics or relevant field or equivalent years of experience 2-4 years of technical experience in video post-production broadcast or related field Required Skills Competencies Must possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform well as an individual while also contributing to a team within a fast paced deadline-driven post production environment Demonstrate the ability to work independently under pressure Proactive thinker and self-starter Some travel as required Preferred Skills Competencies Technical Skills Strong understanding and experience with professional and consumer Audio Video signal flow Familiarity and experience troubleshooting and maintaining Windows OS X and Linux operating systems Able to quickly diagnose or escalate system level problems during client sessions Experience in entry level computer scripting preferred Wiring equipment installation and cable management skills Physical Requirements Time Spent on Computer what percent of each day 40 Does the job require any lifting If yes what is the maximum amount of pounds that will be lifted Yes 20 lbs Does the job require a constant amount of standing sitting walking etc If yes what percent of each day Yes sitting 50 Does the job require any type of physical repetitive activity If yes what is the activity and what percent of each day is it being done Yes Computer work 40 Job Posting Segment ILM Mumbai Job Posting Primary Business ILM Mumbai Primary Job Posting Category Media Engineering Employment Type Full time Primary City State Region Postal Code Mumbai India Alternate City State Region Postal Code Date Posted 2025-09-25
