Job Title Construction Manager Electrical Substation Oil Gas Interview Location Chennai Work Location Saudi Arabia Experience 12-18 years Key Responsibilities Oversee the construction and installation of electrical systems for HV MV substations switchyards and oil gas facilities Manage and coordinate daily construction activities at the site including subcontractor supervision labor planning and vendor coordination Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety regulations e g NEC IEC IEEE and oil gas industry standards e g API ASME Interpret electrical schematics single-line diagrams and control wiring drawings Monitor the installation of transformers GIS AIS systems switchgear cabling protection control panels Collaborate with design procurement QA QC and commissioning teams Identify and resolve technical and construction issues in office Ensure timely project completion while controlling cost and scope Conduct regular inspections safety briefings and toolbox talks Track project progress prepare reports and communicate updates to stakeholders Coordinate with client representatives consultants and third-party inspectors Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 12 years of construction management experience with at least 4 years in electrical substation or oil gas projects
