As a Special educator you are responsible for tailoring educational experiences to meet the diverse needs of students with physical mental emotional or learning disabilities Their core mission is to ensure every student has equal access to the curriculum and develops the skills necessary for independence Key Responsibilities Assessment Evaluation Evaluate students skills strengths and weaknesses using various assessments to determine specific educational needs Behavioral Support Counseling Develop and implement behavior management plans including social skills training and self-regulation strategies Record Keeping Maintain accurate up-to-date data on student performance evaluations and compliance documentation Curriculum Adaptation Instruction Adapt general education lessons materials and teaching methods to accommodate diverse abilities Specialized Instruction Providing one-on-one or small-group instruction depending on the need of the students Parental Engagement Regularly communicating with parents and caregivers to provide progress updates and suggest strategies for learning at home Qualification and Experience Graduation post-graduation with B Ed or D Ed in Special Education with minimum 2 years of experience Job Type Full time Pay 13 000 00 - 33 917 42 per month Work Location In person
