Jashpur Balrampur Surajpur Manendragarh Kanker Rajnandgaon Kabirdham Gariyaband Bastar Bijapur and Sukma districts of Chaittsgarh Posted 15 hours ago About Organisation LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy lymphatic filariasis TB HIV AIDS other NTDs Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India About the Project About the Project With the support of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS Tuberculosis and Malaria GFATM and guidance from the Central TB Division will be implementing a Integrated Pediatric TB care services in both the public and private health sectors to increase pediatric TB case detection and improve treatment outcomes and b Active Case Finding ACF for early detection of missing TB cases among key and vulnerable populations using cutting-edge AI-enabled portable X-ray devices The project will be carried out through Sub-Recipient SR partners in the states of Chhattisgarh Lepra Society seek Hand Held X-Ray Coordinator based at district headquarters of the implementation geographies to lead implementation of project Decentralizing Pediatric TB Care Services in Public Private Health Sector and enhance case detection through ACF with Handheld X-Ray across selected geographies in 11 District s of Chhattisgarh State The position is for immediate employment Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the District ACF Coordinator DAC to develop a weekly and monthly schedule for organizing hand-held CXR camps at facilities and within the community Support the District ACF Coordinator for collection of data on mapping the Key Vulnerable Populations identify program deliverable gaps and issues from the field Tracking the status of supply of consumables diagnostics and drugs under the project and inform DAC towards time to time for procurement plans Support the DAC in facilitating microplanning and training for the health staff including ASHA and AWW at the district and block level on the ACF campaigns Leverage the Community Engagement activities door-to-door visits mobile clinics and health camps for actively identifying the individuals with TB symptoms camps for ACF at Districts level conducted by different health departments like AAM NHM WCD RBSK RKSK and NTEP Participate in the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program NTEP s Routine ACF Activities Undertake district wide travel to conduct CXR for presumptive TB cases and share those with abnormal CXR reports for further evaluation Support the District ACF Coordinator in identifying developing MoUs with the Private Labs for CXR Services wherever required Maintain regular communication with all facilities in both Private and Public where the people with abnormal CXR were referred for sample collection and testing in NAAT other molecular tests Provide support in notifying positive TB cases identified Ensure documentation and data management of all the activities performed in the district Participate in the Project Review Meetings conducted in the district and state level and by NTEP Undertake any other activities and responsibilities as reasonably required by the project and organization Qualifications and Skills Any degree with a diploma graduation in radiography or paramedical staff who has the working knowledge of operating a handheld X-ray unit with 2-3 years of work experience Skills Ability to liaison engage with stakeholders from multiple sectors of government private health care providers civil society and communities at state levels Computer skills and working knowledge in MS Office Good oral and written communication skills in English and regional language Willingness to be based in the district headquarter and travel extensively to project implementation geographies Please note that we will be able to communicate only with shortlisted candidates at every stage of selection process Remuneration Rs 2 5 to 3 Lakhs per annum HOW TO APPLY If you have the skills and necessary experience and are interested in this position please forward your application along with covering letter and detailed resume in the specified format downloaded from www leprasociety in Get Involved - career column to hrd leprahealthinaction in specifying the REF NO HHXRAY1153 Post applied for on or before the due date LEPRA Society is an equal opportunity employer LEPRA Society s management reserves the right to modify the contents of this position description at any time
