AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90 of leading industrial companies Job Title R D Senior Member of Technical Staff Product Test Location Hyderabad Employment Type Full Time regular hybrid work arrangement About the Role As a part of this function the R D Technology and Execution team designs develops and maintains software products and solutions including the underlying systems and architecture Responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R D functions We are looking for a seasoned Tester with the skills and passion to successfully test and validate the AI enabled products developed by the team Main responsibilitiesWork with the Product Owner Stakeholders Dev Manager in addition to the Scrum Team to understand define and implement test roadmap Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating backlog refinement daily Scrum meetings sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews Work collaboratively with scrum colleagues to identify implement and execute functional and non-functional test scenarios to validate the functionality of software Be responsible for defining stories test strategy test ideas and translating those into automated and manual tests as part of a cross-functional development team Use tools including test automation frameworks and data to make testing efficient and easily repeatable for regression purposes You may be required to update existing frameworks or modify them or build new ones depending on the need Contribute to decisions on how testing is conducted share opinions on the right tools to use and the right methods to achieve the goals You may be required to mentor junior team-members Handle large amounts of data as is normally the case with AI models QualificationsYou have minimum of 10 years of Functional Domain testing experience within Engineering domain or related industry Experience on Non-functional requirement gathering identifying critical business scenarios Hands-on experience of application functional testing Good hands-on experience CI CD Tools GIT TFS MS Test etc and processes in Azure DevOps experience of using Agile methodologies Automation Experience and Knowledge of popular scripting languages Selenium-C Java Script etc will be required Good understanding of Machine learning life cycle Design and implement unit and integrations tests covering machine learning models with variety of data sets Exceptional communication skills working with a broad range of people including Product Owners System Testers Product Support across sites Positive approach to problem solving with a can do attitude Nice to have Knowledge of NET Framework NET Core Knowledge of working Microsoft Azure Platform Knowledge of Restful services Web API Skills with multiple software development languages including Typescript JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3 Experience on creating self-contained reusable and testable modules and components Experience with Industrial automation domain knowledge R D at AVEVA Our global team of 2000 developers work on an incredibly diverse portfolio of over 75 industrial automation and engineering products which cover everything from data management to 3D design AI and cloud are at the centre of our strategy and we have over 150 patents to our name Our track record of innovation is no fluke -
