Company UTSAAH Lab Location Bengaluru India Responsibilities Design develop and optimize the electronic hardware components for a drug delivery device ensuring reliable performance and effective power consumption Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including mechanical engineers firmware engineers and UX designers to integrate electronic hardware with other aspects of the insulin pump system Develop schematics layout designs and bill of materials BOM for a drug delivery device s electronic hardware following industry best practices Test and validate hardware performance identifying and resolving issues to ensure robust and reliable operation Assist in the development of testing procedures and tools for the electronic hardware ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Participate in design reviews providing input and feedback on hardware-related aspects of the insulin pump Contribute to the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the device by identifying areas for optimization and implementing hardware updates as needed Assist in the creation of technical documentation related to the electronic hardware such as design specifications user manuals and troubleshooting guides Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field Strong experience in electronic hardware design and development for embedded systems preferably in the medical device industry Proficiency in electronic design automation EDA tools such as KiCad Cadence or Eagle Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design power management and communication protocols e g 12C SPI UART Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations such as ISO 13485 and IEC 60601 Excellent problem-solving critical thinking and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved populations How to Apply Please complete the application form to apply for the role https forms gle hC5pttk9Xj1bttoa9 Note Only candidates who submit the form will be considered Job Type Full-time Pay 330 463 56 - 1 000 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Bengaluru Karnataka Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Work Location In person
