Job Summary Indus University is searching for skilled and motivated System Administrators to join their IT team These positions offer the opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the university s technology infrastructure Responsibilities Manage upgrade and troubleshoot software hardware and network systems Implement and manage university s Enterprise Resource Planning ERP system Administer Google Suite Workspace for faculty staff and students Develop and maintain the university website with basic HTML knowledge Set up maintain and manage UTM Unified Threat Management firewalls Utilize advanced Excel functions and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Manage network servers network devices and technology tools Perform LAN WAN WiFi network maintenance and troubleshooting Administer Active Directory Domain Controllers DHCP DNS and File Servers Create and manage user accounts including bulk account creation Utilize bulk OS cloning techniques for efficient system deployment Install upgrade and configure software and hardware Configure and maintain L2 L3 network switches Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV infrastructure and network Manage user requests and requirements through a ticketing system Helpdesk Monitor system performance and ensure systems meet university needs Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system outages Implement security measures through access controls backups and firewalls UTM Upgrade systems to new releases and models as needed Develop expertise and train staff on recent technologies Qualifications Required Proven experience as a System Administrator Network Administrator or similar role 2-7 years Experience with ERP implementation and management Knowledge of Google Suite Workspace administration Website development and maintenance experience basic HTML Experience with UTM maintenance and management Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and Ms-Office applications Ability to manage network servers and technology tools Experience with LAN WAN WiFi network maintenance and troubleshooting Qualifications Preferred Experience with Active Directory Domain Controller DHCP DNS and File Servers User account management and bulk account creation skills Experience with bulk OS cloning techniques Experience with OS installation and upgrades Database maintenance backup and restore skills L2 L3 network switch configuration and maintenance experience CCTV infrastructure network maintenance and troubleshooting experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills BSc BA in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field Professional certifications e g Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator MCSA pen spark Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Shilaj Ahmedabad Gujarat Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s What is your current salary What is your expected salary What is your notice period Experience System administration 2 years Required Work Location In person
