About the company Nimbus is a growing Accounting Outsourcing firm based out of Erode Tamilnadu We provide Bookkeeping Accounting Payroll processing Tax Preparation and Offshore dedicated staffing services for small businesses CPA firms EAs and accounting firms in the USA Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for US-based clients This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience in accounting who are eager to build hands-on exposure across bookkeeping reconciliations payroll and financial reporting Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities Maintain accurate books of accounts following US accounting standards Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all assigned clients Review and clean up books by identifying and correcting errors misclassifications and unreconciled items Post journal entries and ensure proper transaction categorization Support preparation of monthly financial reports P L Balance Sheet Cash Flow Assist in month-end close activities and respond to accounting queries Work under the guidance of senior accountants and US CPA EA teams Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Proficiency in bookkeeping software e g QuickBooks Xero Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices Knowledge of US GAAP IFRS is a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Preferred Nice to Have Experience supporting US CPA or EA firms Familiarity with month-end close processes Job Type Full-time Pay From 20 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Ability to commute relocate Remote Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience US Accounting 1 year Preferred Language English Required Work Location Remote
