The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily hypermarket operations ensuring smooth store functioning excellent customer service staff productivity and achievement of sales and operational targets Key Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations Ensure achievement of sales targets profitability and operational KPIs Supervise floor operations merchandising and product availability Monitor stock levels inventory control and shrinkage prevention Coordinate with department supervisors for smooth workflow Handle customer complaints and ensure high service standards Support staff scheduling attendance and performance monitoring Ensure compliance with company policies SOPs and safety standards Assist in staff training motivation and team development Prepare daily weekly and monthly operational reports Required Experience Skills 3-4 years of experience in retail hypermarket supermarket operations Robust knowledge of store operations inventory management and merchandising Good leadership communication and team-handling skills Customer-focused with problem-solving ability Basic knowledge of POS systems billing and MS Office Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple departments Qualifications Bachelor s degree or diploma in any discipline preferred Retail management certification is an added advantage Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
